[EW&Fデビュー40周年/フィリップ・ベイリー来日記念盤(2)] EW&Fの活動休止期間中にリリースした、ポップス・フィールドでの2ndアルバム。80年代ポップスを代表する英国ミュージシャン、フィル・コリンズ(ジェネシス)をプロデューサーに抜擢。ふたりでデュエットした「Easy Lover」は全米2位まで上昇。日本でもラジオやディスコを中心に大ヒットし、まさに80年代の空気をヴィヴィッドに感じさせる名曲と呼べる1曲。ラストに収録されている「Children of the Ghetto」は現在でもメアリー・J・ブライジなど多くのシンガーたちがカバーしている名曲(オリジナルはUKのリアル・シング)。アルバム全体をとおしてフィリップの美しいハイトーン・ヴォーカルが炸裂している。全米チャート22位(R&Bアルバム10位) (1984年作品) 2011年リマスタリング。紙ジャケット仕様。解説/歌詞対訳付き。
