ウィーン・フィル創立150周年記念コンサート [Blu-spec CD2] / リッカルド・ムーティ (指揮)/ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団
世界最高峰のオーケストラ、ウィーン・フィルは1992年に創立150周年を迎え、3月22日には本拠地ムジークフェラインザールで記念コンサートが開かれた。その重要なコンサートの指揮を託されたのが、20年以上オペラ、オーケストラ・コンサートの両面において固い信頼関係で結ばれてきたイタリアの名指揮者リッカルド・ムーティ。ムーティは毎年元旦に行われるウィーン・フィルの"ニューイヤーコンサート"には2021年で6回目の登壇を果たしている。シューベルトの未完成交響曲に始まり、ドイツの名メゾ・ソプラノ歌手クリスタ・ルートヴィヒを迎えてのマーラーのリュッケルト歌曲、メンデルスゾーンのイタリア交響曲を演奏、最後はラヴェルのボレロで華麗にコンサートを締め括る。全楽団員が交代で演奏した歴史的なコンサートの初CD化。ソニー・クラシカル所蔵のLDマスターからベルリンのb-sharp社によるリマスタリングでその模様が鮮やかに蘇る。来日記念盤。
