This was recorded in Roppongi with a live choir. Waiting in anticipation at the release of Boredomms Super Roots 9, I was initally taken away by the opening a gentle cascade of choir voices and then the boredoms slowly starting up with their almost tribal, syncoptaed triple drumkit assault which has been something of a trademark of the Boredoms since 'Super Are' and used to great effect on their late 90s masterpiece, 'Vision Creation Newsun'. The 40-minute track is puncuated throughout by changing directions and patterns. The only problem is once it gets going it just keeps going and going with rare changes in instrumentation to really introduce some variation to make this a truly remarkable listen.
