わさお / 邦画
日本一愛されるブサかわ犬≪わさお≫主演デビュー! 大自然で生きる"わさお"と人間の、温かい絆の物語。 わさわさして白い長い毛に覆われた大きな秋田犬が遠くの風景を見つめている。疲れ果て、足取りも重い。その犬が辿り着いた先は、セツ子が営む一軒のイカ焼き屋。その犬は、わさおと名付けられた。捨て犬を引き取っては育てているセツ子は、わさおに愛情をかけるが全く懐かない。この店に毎日の様に訪れる少年・アキラは、飼い犬が原因の事故で母親が入院中だが、セツ子の店で動物と触れ合うことで寂しさを忘れることができた。やがて、変わらぬ愛情を掛け続けるセツ子に初めて心を開いていく。豊かな自然に恵まれた青森県鯵ヶ沢町を舞台に、セツ子とアキラ、そして町興しのトライアスロン大会で賑わう町の人たちの優しさの中から生まれたストーリーは、奇跡の様な温かい感動に育まれてゆく。
