KAYAMA YUZO & THE YANCHARS

Description

[Machine Translation] To commemorate the 65th anniversary of Yuzo Kayama's 88th birthday on April 11, 2025, The Younchers (Yoshiko Moriyama, Kosetsu Minami, Masashi Sada, and THE ALFEE) have come together to release a new song. The newly released song is one of more than 150 open-reel tapes that were discovered while cleaning out Kayama's home during the Corona disaster. The tapes contain many demo recordings of hit songs as well as unreleased material, and Masashi Sada has written new lyrics for one of the selected songs. The CD will include three tracks: "Poem of a Traveler", "Poem of a Traveler" (karaoke), and a demo of "Poem of a Traveler".
