マスターズ・ブラス・ナゴヤ/ 鈴木英史編曲委嘱初演、リヒャルト・シュトラウス「祝典前奏曲」。"音楽を楽しむ"をコンセプトに、『伝統と革新』を追求する、マスターズ・ブラス・ナゴヤ誕生!! このCDは、2016年4月10日に愛知県芸術劇場コンサートホールにて行われた第一回定期演奏会のライブ録音である。作曲家鈴木英史氏に編曲を委嘱し、この日に初演となったリヒャルト・シュトラウスの「祝典前奏曲」は、オルガンと吹奏楽の壮大な音楽に愛知工業大学名電高等学校吹奏楽部のバンダが花を添え、鈴木竜哉氏による長い持続力に満ちた雄大な棒が、宇宙空間の広がりをみせた演奏である。2曲目に収録されている、三枝成彰氏作曲のトランペット協奏曲 (ユーフォニアムヴァージョン)は、新進気鋭のユーフォニアム奏者安東京平氏の超絶技巧と、ユーフォニアムが持つ特有の柔らかで包みこむような音色が、この曲にあふれる日本的な抒情性を見事に歌い上げている。
