Description

The first full album by the rock band Kuyuru, formed in 2022. What symbolizes Kuyuru is three overwhelmingly present roaring guitars and a strong rhythm section. The vocal, Ayana Orito (Gt. / Vo.), has a somewhat ephemeral and lonely voice that seems as if it would break upon touch, beautifully enveloping everything as if seeking salvation. Centering the vocal, the band sound flies freely to expand a world of colors, light, and scenes from the voice, and the contrast between noisy yet delicate sounds dominates the space. Through performances with various bands in Japan and abroad, this work convincingly shows further deepening and vividly expresses the "now" of Kuyuru.

2022年に結成したロックバンド"くゆる"の1st full album。くゆるを象徴するのが圧倒的存在感のある3本の轟音ギターと強靭なリズム隊。そして下戸あやな (Gt./Vo.)のどこか儚く寂しげで、触れてしまうと壊れてしまいそうな歌声が救いを求めるように美しく全体を包み込んでいく。ボーカルを中心に据え、歌声から色・光・情景などの世界を広げるようにバンドサウンドが自由に飛び回り、ノイジーでありながらも繊細なサウンドのコントラストが空間を支配する。今作は国内外の様々なバンドとの共演を経て、さらに深化したことを確信させる仕上がりで、くゆるの"今"を鮮明に表現した作品である。
