ベテラン揃いの大型新人?! デビューアルバム!! 【地球三兄弟とは?】THE EARTH [桜井秀俊/リーダー]、Oしゃん [奥田民生]、スパ de SKY [YO-KING] 奥田民生、YO-KING、桜井秀俊(年齢順)という、日本(とソニー・ミュージックアーティスツ)を代表する愉快な仲間たちが「なにか楽しいことをやりましょう」という、オトナのわりにはうっかりした動機で結成された新人バンド。【結成のきっかけは?】2011年、映画『マイ・バック・ページ』の主題歌となったボブ・ディランのカバー「My Back Pages」。その際の楽しさの余韻から結成を決意。この時は「真心ブラザーズ+奥田民生」という名義だったが、「オレだけがのけ者になるのもナンだから」というOしゃん(奥田)の主張が受け入れられ、真心ブラザーズとユニコーンがそれぞれコラボした『宇宙兄弟』にインスパイアされました的なバンド名が決定。メンバーそれぞれが、ギター、ベース、ドラムなどの楽器を持ち替えることで、3人なのに「バンド」としてのサウンドを構築。たいして弾けないバイオリンまでをスタジオに持ち込んだ「オトナの楽しさ優先」のレコーディングが、地球三兄弟の原点となった。 先行シングル『呼びにきたよ』(テレビ朝日系木曜ミステリー「捜査地図の女」主題歌)を含む、全12曲を収録予定。Blu-spec CD仕様。
