X CLIPS

This clip collection is awesome. It's fantastic that this nice collection was released on DVD. The clips have, for their age, an amazing quality.

This was the first piece of X merchandise I ever purchased. I still watch it on a regular basis after about two years, it's that good! I highly recommend it. Even the song X, which I have never really liked, I really got into watching this video! Kurenai is shown live, and is a great performance. Then comes Endless Rain, which is a beautiful, beautiful video. There's rain falling throughout, and at the end Yoshiki is walking in it, looking just so sad, and then emotion overtakes him and he falls to the wet ground, and is then showered by red roses. Beautiful. It also has some clips of past concerts interspersed throughout this video. After Endless Rain is Week End, one of my favorites on this disc! It really captures the emotion of the piece, and all of the band members die except for Toshi who narrates, and they all die in different,interesting ways. Yoshiki of course dramatically slits his wrists with a rose-engraved knife. But my absolute favorite is Silent Jealousy. Nothing can compare to the power and raw emotion of this piece. It is surpassed only by Art of Life. The live shots are so emotional you can't help but sway, the movielike parts move you to tears. Excellent buy!
