Neolog Reviews

Post reviews on Neolog and interact with people from all over the world!

neolog Cool! 5

Alice Nine came again with this concert DVD.
I found the concert DVD really interesting and entertaining. They brought so many songs from their powerful rock songs to slower ones.
Other than concert videos, you can also watch the backstage video footage and also interviews with each member.
There are so many funny videos inside and I'm sure you don't want to miss and you want to watch it all over again.

neolog Amazing! 5

Judging from performance quality, this has to be the best alice nine has ever done! The performances given by the band members were all flawless! And plus, Hiroto and Saga walk around shirtless in the last Encore and several behind the scenes shots. Who doesn't love that? xP

It's so amaing! 5

I loved it, recommended for any Alice Nine fan!

It also introduced me to a few songs I haven't heard before that i absolutely love now! Shou sang mirror ball to a piano which was soo pretty :3

Full of tons of great fan service too, as expected of Alice Nine!

Spectacular 5

This DVD was absolutely fantastic. It was as expected from alice nine. My favorite number was Hana Ichi Monme.

Excellent dvd, it was worth buying! 5

This is a very wonderful live, even if it has some bits of documentary and off-shots, i think it has a nice feeling and it's very interesting to see the band on some other places other than on stage.

Every song is great, Shou's vocals are impressive as always. I loved the piano version of Mirror Ball, it's the most beautiful song in this dvd for me.

I would have liked that this dvd have had a booklet or something like that, maybe in the next XD !.

Musically it's their best live, we can watch and listen alice nine growth in both songs and performance.
Definitively it's a must have for a die-hard alice nine fan!

Nice DVD 4

I recommend this DVD if you are likely to stay 3 hours or so watching it. Im a super fan of them and I was extremely happy when I bought it. The recopilation they made of different Lives was nice but the sound wasn't very good. The main event(the live in Nakano Sunplaza) is awesome and so the visual things and sound. Really looking forward for a next DVD.

Tour documentary or live DVD? 4

Hmm, this is a live DVD with bits of interviews and backstage footage placed between the songs. This is a technique used on some DVD's (Glay's Summer of '98 Pure Soul In Stadium is one of them), and you either love it or hate it. Personally I'm not too fond of backstage footage, and I'm not a big Alice Nine fan, so I'd rather have a full concert of them, and being able to choose off-shot from the DVD menu, rather than having it forced upon me like that. I also don't orgasm when seeing some fanservice, so personally I wouldn't recommend buying this DVD just for that. *dodges rotten tomatoes and blocks of iron* Yes I know!!! SORRY! x.x

With that said, the live performances are very good, and gods I love the visuals. It's got to be some of the nicest colours I've seen on a visual band so far. ^-^ The picture and sound are great, 'n I find it very enjoyable. I just need to bite through the off-shot stuff, is all. Anyway, I'm glad there's a new Alice Nine DVD out. Looking forward to the next one. ^^

alice nine. the motion picture 5

Instead of doing the typical live DVD release so many artist do A9 or should I say PSC have choose the of taking a the off shoot footage & combining it with the main event. Some might scoff that PSC did this for $$$ reasons. Why have 2 disks when you can cram everything into one feature. Yet after viewing this 2 & 1/2 hour epic piece of fanservice I feel as thought I just sat through a documentary about a great beloved band. In a sense yes this is "alice nine. the movie". Its well produced, fun & heartfelt. I can't wait for the sequel XD~

BEST DVD EVER. 5

FINALLY a new dvd released since HDN.
this dvd is flawless from start to finish; every song is performed wonderfully and if you thought HDN was great, this is even better!! alice nine. seem to have gotten even more confident and the whole band really performs as one.

i especially love the performance of 9th Revolver, and having the guest female singer added a really wonderful touch. The piano version of Mirror Ball was amazing too - shou's vocals are really strong throughout this live. and of course, saga is his sexy self XD the shouxsaga moment is love.

it was also really nice to be able to see a9 travelling around and all the backstage cuts...only minor setback is that some people might not like having the non-live cuts placed between the actual concert. other than that... ALICE NINE. ROCKS!!!

Like a Discotheque! 5

I really was looking forward to a new Alice concert dvd, and this one is very cool! ^^ I like Shou's voice very much, and Alice's songs are very energetic and it's always a pleasure to see such good-looking guys performing good music. I really looove the arrangement for "Mirror ball", it sounds like a very beautiful ballad. The only thing i found disappointing is that they didn't perform "Ruri no ame", it would've been superb!! ^^
Anyway, this dvd is a must have for every Alice fan! I'm already waiting for the next one! ^^

Awesome! 5

They did a good job at making you feel like you were really there with this concert. This is from someone who went to that very concert! This has to be my favorite DVD they've made. It's expensive, but the money is worth it. The tour pass replica didn't seem that worthless to me. Maybe it's because I went?

OK 4

Well, this dvd is worthed to buy because you can see some "fanservice" in it. For those who like it, this DVD is a nice catch. Also, you can see so many different "faces" of Tora !!! And Saga is such a CAM-WHORE. I really like Mirror Ball version in this LIVE. Really soothing song. Just a little bit disappointed, because they don't play number six and Ruri no Ame song. *sigh*
