1965年の原作発表以来、幾度となく実写映像化されてきた「時をかける少女」が、初めてアニメーション映画として登場! 原作は筒井康隆の同名小説『時をかける少女』。原作の映画化ではなく、原作の約20年後を舞台にした続編。アニメーション版はこれまでになく、アクティヴで前向きな主人公が初夏の町を、文字通り駆け抜けていく爽快な青春映画の決定版。本編の画質を最大限に引き出した、HDマスター版にて収録!! 高校2年生の紺野真琴は、故障した自転車で遭遇した踏切事故をきっかけに、時間を跳躍する能力を得る。ひとたびその力の使い方を覚えると、それをなんの躊躇も無く、日常の些細な不満や欲望の解消に費やす。世界は私のもの! バラ色の日々と思われたが、クラスメートの男子生徒、間宮千昭や津田功介との関係に変化が。友達から恋人へ!? 千昭から思わぬ告白を受けた真琴は狼狽のあまり、その告白をタイムリープで、強引に無かったことにしてしまう。ところがその千昭に、同級生の友梨が告白。まんざらでもなさそうな千昭。その上、功介にあこがれる下級生、果穂の相談まで受けてしまう。いつまでも3人の友達関係が続けばいいと考えていた真琴の望みは、タイムリープでかえってややこしく、厄介な状況に。真琴は果穂の恋を成就させるために、タイムリープで東奔西走するのだが――。
