This Japanese edition features cardboard sleeve artworks on each discs: CD1 features the UK original cover design with eight-panel sleeve, including an inner bag. CD2 features the artwork of its first-pressing released from Toshiba in Japan, which consists of single sleeve, a double-sided poster, and an obi. DVD Audio features picture sleeve or E-type single sleeve with a Japanese obi (subject to change). [Contents] CD1 features remastering using the stereo master used in its "Remaster CD Version IECP-10266." CD2 features 2013 new stereo mix by Steven Wilson. Audio DVD includes tracks with 5.1ch surround/stereo mix by Steven Wilson as well as tracks with 1975 original stereo mix.

ホークインド全カタログ中最も人気の高い名作。しかしながら、オリジナル発売時の契約書の不備により、リマスター化が強く望まれたいたものの、発売ができずにいた問題のアイテム。2013年アトムヘンジ・レーベルより遂にオフィシャル再発売! CD2枚+DVDA1枚、トリプル紙ジャケット仕様・デラックス盤。英国オリジナル・ジャケット+日本オリジナル・ジャケット+同時期の発売のシングルのジャケット。満を持してのオフィシャル再発は「リマスターCDバージョン(IECP-10266)」にも使用されたオリジナル・ステレオ・マスターよりのリマスター盤に加え、CD2にはスティーヴン・ウイルソンによる2013年版ニュー・ステレオ・ミックスを追加。オーディオDVDにはスティーヴン・ウイルソンのよる5.1chサラウンドミックス/ステレオ・ミックス、1975年版オリジナル・ステレオ・ミックスを収録。本作は、'70年代ホークウインド、スペース・オペラ期の傑作。この時期は日本でも有名なSF作家、マイケル・ムーアコック(エターナル・チャンピオン・シリーズ、火星の戦士シリーズ)がストリーラインを創っていた時代で、ヘヴィなサイケデリック感覚溢れるサウンド共に今も多くのファンを魅了している。オリジナル・メンバーで本作で脱退し、モーターヘッドを結成するレミーがバンド名に流用した「モーターヘッド」は本作のために書かれたが、アルバムには収録されず、この遺恨がもとで脱退に至る曰くあり。今回の2013ミックスには「モーターヘッド」はもちろん収録。CD1=英国オリジナル変形8面スリーヴ、専用内袋を忠実に再現。CD=2日本初回発売東芝盤シングル・スリーヴ、両面変形ポスター、帯を再現。DVDA=当時発売されたシングルのピクチャー・スリーヴもしくは国内再発売キング・レコード版帯付きE式シングル・スリーヴを予定。

this is a great super deluxe edition of this classic album from 1975 and it was also kind of lemmys last stand with hawkwind, the only other deluxe edition of this that was released that is better then this is the uk edition super deluxe on esoteric records becouse that also comes with an anolog lp, if you dont need the analog lp and you just want the awsome remastering and packaging then i highly reccomend this issue here, this is so far probably the best remaster of this album i own now, the bonus stuff they crammed on here is awsome, i think they must have taken every outtake from the sessions for this classic album and it is all here on 3 cds with an awsome poster and a bonus japan only replica sleeve, if you are a hawkwind collector or a huge hawkwind fan i think it is safe to say you will love this, this deluxe issue is as good as the space ritual super deluxe edition out of the uk in 2009, this 2013 remaster is as awsome as that 2009 remaster.............
