五つの赤い風船解散後に発表された、西岡たかしの初ソロ・アルバム。多重録音の先駆となる作品で、作詞、作曲、編曲、歌、演奏をほぼ全て一人やってのけ、マルチ・プレイヤーぶりを出し切っている。今回URCの倉庫で発見された、73年の"4人の会コンサート" (岡林信康、加藤和彦、はしだのりひこ、西岡たかし)から3曲、同じく73年の"西岡たかしソロ・コンサート"から6曲の発掘音源をボーナス・ディスクに収録した、デラックス・エディション2枚組にて発売。発掘ライヴ音源では、本編『満員の木』にも収録されている「満員の木」「みれん」「同棲」のライヴ・ヴァージョンもあり、オリジナルとの聴き比べが出来る。また、風船時代の曲「雨よいつまでも」「もしもボクの背中に羽根が生えてたら」「血まみれの鳩」「小さな夢」も、随分とアレンジの違った曲として楽しめる。超貴重な発掘ライヴ音源の収録盤! 解説付。紙ジャケット仕様。
