デビューからちょうど10年の記念盤としてリリースする佐手麻珠の初アルバム。鏡花水月の世界をテーマに、彼女が得意とするラフマニノフ、ドビュッシー、ベートーヴェンのピアノ作品から名曲を選定。1曲目から最終トラックまで一つのストーリーとして繋がっている。これまで東京と海外での生活が長かったが、故郷への恩返しと地元・栃木県内のホールを録音地に選んだ。鋭い感性と幅広い表現を存分に描写しつつも、明晰でエレガントな強さを備えた録音となっている。
