Mine came this morning, been listening to it all morning. what a relief! I was excited about this release but it could have gone sooo wrong...but...it's great! First impressions, nice Krameresque production, great drumming, great singing, and some tracks (I Was Made For Lovin' You, Forever, Heavens On Fire, Shout It Out Loud, Do You Love Me and Hotter Than Hell) are actually BETTER than the original versions. There's no radical reworking been done, except the drum parts which on all tracks except I Love It Loud are better than the originals. The lead vocals on Forever are for me better than the original and the new production on I Was Made For Lovin' you really improves on the original sound, much clearer, less muddy. I wish they'd redone Sure Know Something as well. So all is well, the "new" band sound great in the studio...so now we need a BRAND NEW ALBUM.
