NHKラジオ深夜便『景色の見える音楽』でもお馴染みの音楽家・守時タツミが2007年にスタートさせたプロジェクト『MOTTAINAI SOUND』第7弾。守時が日本各地を回り、海や山、町の音など、その土地で聞こえてくる音を録音し、その時目にした風景とその場で感じた想いを曲にして、自然の音とミックスした作品。今回は、和歌山の高野山、新潟の南魚沼、青森の奥入瀬、長崎の壱岐、北海道のオンネトー、海外では中国の天台など、全9曲を収録。レコーディングではWeiWei Wuu(二胡)、吉川忠英 (A.Gt)、湯川トーベン (Bass)、菅原裕紀(Perc)など、多彩なミュージシャンも参加。
