I made this album in the hope that music will shed some light on the shadows of our lives. The title track, "Heaven's Door," was written in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City, and I wrote it in the hope that it would bring some peace to the victims and their families who lost their loved ones in this tragic event that marked the beginning of the 21st century. It has been about 4 years since "ONE&ONLY ~The End of the Distant Sky" ( XDCA-1002 ), and this is an album of my best effort.

HEAVEN'S DOOR 七宮 史浩 このアルバムのコンセプトは人生の光と影。最愛の人に出会うという事はいつかは別れなければいけない。華やかしいはずの学校生活でさえ、いじめや不登校の話題がいま社会現象にまで発展している。音楽を通じて少しでも人生の影に光がさす事を願いアルバムを作りました。タイトルチェーンでもある「HEAVEN'S DOOR」は2001年9月11日のニューヨーク同時多発テロを見て曲を書きました。21世紀のまさに悲劇の始まりだとも言えるこの事故で被害者や失った家族に少しでも安らぎが訪れる事を祈って作った曲です。「ONE&ONLY～遠い空の果て」(XDCA-1002)から約四年、渾身のアルバムです。
