I have followed EVE since their first single Case;A. I must say that for their first album, its not bad. This album is mostly Pop-like rock with some hints of metal thrown into the batch. The bass riffs are great, the drums flow nicely, and the guitar steals the spotlight with some quick rockin guitar solos. Takeru's voice is nice and easy on the ears. It has a distinct sound to it. Most of the songs had a pop rock sound to them, with some being a little funky and groovy while some had a little heavier approach to them. This album didn't blow me away, but it is far from mediocre. I hope EVE can grow more with their next album and possibly be a little more original and they shall be fine. :)
