[Machine Translation] The new age subculture unit "Collagen Boys" performed as the opening act for Takuya Matsuoka's (ex.Sarter Andagi) birthday tour from July to August 2014. As the group performed in many places in Japan, Takuya Matsuoka, Shosei, and Waka G of Collagen Boys became friends and formed the unit spontaneously. The name "Kotakura" comes from the fact that Takuya Matsuoka always sat between the Collagen Boys and the Collagen Boys at the launch of their live performances, and the name "Kotakura" means "colla" and Matsuoka's "taku" is sandwiched in between the colla. Now, the two different groups have created a chemical reaction, and have completed an album filled with chorus work that is different and more appealing than their individual activities!

2014年7月から8月にかけて行われた松岡卓弥(ex.サーターアンダギー)のバースデーツアーにニューエイジサブカルユニット”コラーゲンボーイズ”がオープニングアクトとして出演。全国各地でライブを重ねる中で、松岡卓弥とコラーゲンボーイズの将星(しょうせい)と若G(わかじー)の三人は親交を深め自然発生的にユニットを結成。ライブの打ち上げの席でいつも松岡卓弥がコラーゲンボーイズの間に座っていたところから”コラ”の間に松岡の”タク”が挟まれるという意味で”コタクラ”とユニット名もすんなり決定!そのままの勢いでユニットとしてのライブ、CDリリースが決まり、本格的に始動。そして今、異色の2組が化学反応を起こし、個々の活動とは違った魅力溢れるコーラスワークが詰まったアルバムがここに完成!
