Dirge - Limited Edition Soundtrack 4

I really like the music for this one. It wasn't quite up to par with Uematsu-san's work, but that's not why I gave it a "4." The actual box is too big to fit the soundtrack, game, and the "Redemption" single in it...unless there was another edition of the game released...I'm not sure.

Dirge of Cerberus 4

The soundtrack was good as most Final Fantasy music, though, I wish Nobuo Uematsu did some of the songs. Gackt's songs were some of my favorite though. ^__^

I'd recommend it, FF music is always goes far and beyond any other videogame music.

Amazing! 5

This soundtrack is amazing! Mr. Masashi Hamauzu's style is similer to Mr. Nobuo Uematsu's, but he has big shoes to fill. I have yet to try Dirge of Cerberus, but this soundtrack already tells me that the game will be awesome. By the second and third track, my blood is pumping furiously feeling every movment of the music with my imagination running wild. It's definitly a worthy addition to any Final Fantasy music collection.

The original soundtrack to the Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus is a must for all final fantasy fans. Complete with a limited edition casing, makes it even better. Can't wait to get my hands on this baby!

For this OST not being composed by Uematsu, I have to say that it's pretty good. The music flows beautifully, though it does often repeat itself with the same music in quite a few tracks. REDEMPTION and LONGING are a wonderful bonus, if you enjoy music by Gackt. The Limited Edition version would be a wonderful addition to your Final Fantasy collection, as it has a special packaging for storing the Limited Edition REDEMPTION single, the OST itself, and the video game as well.

Dirge of Cerberus OST Review 3

A good release for the new Final Fantasy VII-related game; Dirge of Cerberus. Unfortunately, you can tell these tracks weren't composed by Nobou Uematsu and for me, the OST sags in the middle with quite generic music. That said, there are some killer songs on here that must be heard; "A Proposal", "Ninja Girl of Wutai" and "Mysterious Girl" to name but three. Of course, "Longing" and "Redemption" by Gackt are also fantastic songs, naturally. Buy this if you are a fan of the game; if not, I'd pass this up.
