ブルーサーマル / アニメ
上昇気流に乗って空を飛ぶ航空機・グライダーに青春をかける、体育会航空部の大学生たちを描いた、小沢かなの漫画『ブルーサーマル-青凪大学体育会航空部-』(月刊コミック＠バンチ) が企画発足から6年の歳月を経て、ついにアニメ映画化! 監督を務めるのは、「ばらかもん」(14)や「プリンセス・プリンシパル」(17)で知られる橘正紀。キャストはオーディションが行われ、たまき役には、女優の堀田真由が選出された。島崎信長、榎木淳弥、小松未可子、小野大輔といった豪華声優陣が脇を固める。――高校時代、バレーボール一筋で頑張ってきた都留たまき。サークル活動や恋愛などで充実した、"普通の大学生活"に憧れ長崎から上京するも、入学早々とある事故でグライダーを傷つけてしまう。その弁償のために"体育会航空部"の雑用係をすることに。思い描いていた大学生活とはかけ離れた環境に不満を抱いていたが・・・、主将である倉持の操縦するグライダーで初めて《空》へ飛び立った瞬間から、一面に広がるその美しさに魅了されていく。
