Uncontrolled [CD+DVD / Jacket A]

I've been a long time fan of Amuro since 1997, so naturally I've bought and own every album of hers. I preordered this ages before it ever released, so mine included all first press bonuses. The digipak for starters is gorgeous and very well designed. None of those cheap slip case things you see so often in American music releases. The only thing I didn't care for is the tracklist isn't printed on the back. It's only on a clear sticker on the outside of the wrapping when you receive it. I removed that sticker and pasted it onto the back of the actual case for my personal reference. Onto the album itself, this album is FULL of A LOT of great songs. Prior to this album releasing I had only heard the songs Break It & Get Myself Back. I know some people have complained about the English Versions of songs like Go Round & Oh Yeah, but I quite enjoy them. This album also features 5 fully English tracks, which is Namie's 1st time doing so in over a decade. The new mix of Break It on here is excellent. Sounds better than the original in my opinion. My favorite ballads on the album are ONLY YOU & Love Story followed closely by the mid-tempo Get Myself Back. In The Spotlight(Tokyo) & Sit!Stay!Wait!Down! are my total jams. They're amazing to dance to. The only song on this album I'm not fond of and often find myself skipping is Hot Girls. The chorus is annoying and I'm personally not a fan of the subject of the lyrics either, which sound like "if you want him to commit you gotta keep yourself fit" and "i know u dont see whats inside. i gotta say its understood & its all good". Next, I enjoy all the PVs (except HG) and Let's Go is good but the PV is lacking a bit. I felt it could have used a little something more to it. I think I'd say my personal favorites were GO ROUND & Get Myself Back. Lastly the booklet has all the lyrics written in it on some very nice HQ paper. Only disappointment for it is that I was expecting it to have more pictures as it is her 20th Anniversary album. Alas, there's only 2 inside, one on the first page and the 2nd on the last page. However, both are very sexy, which is very nice on the eyes. ;P
