One of Ayu's best albums 5

I own Guilty, (miss)understood and A Complete but so far, Secret has to be my favourite Ayu album. Her rock side has to be her most talented part of her music making because it really does stick in your head for a long time and you can never get bored of it.

As always, Ayu brings out some powerful and emotional lyrics in her songs, whether it be sadness, empowerment or inspiration. The artwork far surpasses Guilty and (miss)understood as well, particularly (miss) mainly because of the low quality and blurriness of the photos. Ayu looks fantastic in the album artwork in the long and elegant black dress.

My favourite songs are until that Day..., 1 LOVE, JEWEL, BLUE BIRD, Born To Be... and Beautiful Fighters.

I love this album! One of ayumi's better studio albums. The instrumental tracks on this album are beautiful. One thing is, I think the album should be longer!

What a great album! 5

There isn't much about this album that hasn't been said before, but I just wanted to encourage others to buy it. Ayu really put her all into every single song on this album and it really shows. Her vocals were better on songs like Born To Be, Blue Bird and Jewel than on alot of her songs in the past and everything was well balanced out. Even the booklet was superior to others and portreyed Ayu as the beautiful diva she is-A much improved success to the pictures in the (miss)understood booklet which were fuzzy and blurred. Honostly, if you havn't got this album by now then you should get it. Secret is worth every penny you spend on it!

Secret 5

What had first been announced a mini album which shouldn't contain many new tracks turned out into a full album which is totally stunning.
As far as I'm concerned, I have the feeling that Ayu's releases are always topping her previous ones. And especially 'Secret' made me so addicted that I had the album on repeat for weeks. Not only because of the previous single releases 'Startin' and 'BLUE BIRD' but also for the new tracks like '1 Love' and 'kiss o' kill'.
Any Ayu fan will most likely love this release.

A Most Delicious Secret 5

The Queen of Jpop is back with one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2006.

[Secret] is, in short, an album that'll both blow you away and lure you into its beauty at the same time.

In truth, Hamasaki has never sounded better. Her vocal growth is especially evident in rock tunes like '1LOVE' where she wowed listeners over with her breathtaking and powerful performance. You almost want to ask yourself: "Is this the Ayu
we knew?"

However, signature ballads like 'JEWEL' and 'It was' would immediately invite you into Hamasaki's moving and enchanting world. 'JEWEL' is a track that will move you to tears with its sheer beauty.

There is also her return to the pop-techno mix with her upbeat track, 'MOMENTUM'. It was a nice change to hear Hamasaki once again doing the type of music where she undoubtedly holds the reign over.

In all, the album is a perfect mix of rock (ever more rocking this time round), pop, and ballads -everything in its best form you can ever.

Take it from Ayumi Hamasaki, and enjoy the winter season with [Secret].

I really really adore this album and if you are a fan of Ayu, you'll adore it, too. Each song is amazing and there is not a single song I don't recommend everyone to listen to.

Full of Jaw-Dropping Goodnes 5

I'll admit, I was skeptical when I heard people tell me this was Ayu's best album yet, and boy, was I glad that they were right!! This album is just amazing. Full of dark songs and a few light ones, the beats and melodies will be sure to keep you listening to Ayu for hours!

Secret, Ayu at her peak 5

No doubt, Secret is definitely one of Ayu's best studio album since 2000's Duty. An even distribution of songs give the album a distinct feeling, that is uniquely ayu. The album flow from rock to ballad and finally pop. Kiss'o'kill and Secret then conclude the album beautifully. This is ayu at her best and put even MY STORY and (miss)understood to shame.
