Firstly, the film itself is beautifully crafted. Even though the storyline may be a bit draggy and bland for those who prefer more fighting scenes, it does have a deep meaning behind it. The subtle messages inserted in the plot also enhances the storyline. I personally love the flashbacks where the people start to remember Rukia again and also the final battle scene between Ichigo and Dark Rukia (I believe that the latter will surely make all IchiRuki shippers go "squeee!").
Secondly, the bonuses which come in this limited edition release are just marvelous. They include the commentary from the seiyu and the theatrical trailers in CD 2 and CD 3, and also a stack of movie guides--which are neatly created--along in the package. It's really worth the money, especially if you speak enough Japanese to understand it.
Thirdly, I love the fact that they constantly maintain the quality of art production in this movie. I notice at certain parts of BLEACH Movie 1 or 2 the characters were drawn a bit strangely (especially at the middle part of BLEACH Movie 2) however in this movie everything looks fine to me. Nothing irks me in particular when it comes to the drawing of the characters or backgrounds.
I highly recommend this movie to everyone who loves Ichigo x Rukia. To those BLEACH fans who prefer more fightings, I suggest you to purchase BLEACH Movie 2 instead of this one, since there isn't much fightings to boast in this Fade to Black movie.
