P. MYKIETYN: Works

[Machine Translation] Pawel Mikietin ( 1971- ) is regarded as one of the busiest composers in contemporary Poland. Since 2000, he has been working on soundtracks for films, some of which have won national awards, and he is an indispensable figure in the film world. 現代ポーランドで最も忙しい作曲家の一人と見做されているパヴェウ・ミキェティン (1971-)。彼は伝統的な室内楽、管弦楽、声楽曲から、電子音楽まで幅広いジャンルの作品を手掛け、カルト劇場のディレクターであるクシシュトフ・ヴォリコフスキーと20年以上に渡ってコラボレーションするなど、舞台でも活躍。2000年からは映画のサウンド・トラックも手掛け、いくつかの作品はポーランド国内の賞を獲得し、映画界でもなくてはならない人になっている。この「交響曲第2番」は2007年の春、創立60周年を迎えたポーランド作曲家協会の委嘱によって作曲された。彼が毎年数週間滞在する風光明媚な都市クジニツァで作曲されたこの作品は、バルト海の神秘的な風景の印象と教会からの音などが随所に取り入れられた表現的な大作。フルート協奏曲はルーカス・ドゥゴシュのために作曲された、テンポが目まぐるしく変化する作品。ベンヤミン・シュヴァルツ (指揮)による2016年録音。
