Uematsu's previous and subsequent compositions for the expansive Final Fantasy library of games all had their share of fantastic songs, but none were as complete and coherent as Final Fantasy VI's. Simply put - FFVI has the best overall soundtrack of all FFs. These songs just stick with you years and years after you've last heard them. There's almost a Pavlovian effect where if you just hear the opening theme, you want to play the game again!

One of the best Final Fantasy soundtracks. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the game, or who is a fan of the music in general. Maybe it's not beautifully orchestrated like modern soundtracks, but it's still a good listen.
I have to start this review by saying that this may be one of the best soundtracks ever made to a game. Uematsu San had a golden era when he wrote the songs for this game and although i think there are a lot of "weak" tracks on this ost they do their job fine in the game.Many of the tracks are good music even to those who never played the game,"Dancing Mad" is a song that in a classical point of view is a masterpiece,enough now on the review......go and buy the album,you won't regret it.
