2015年9月21日のZepp Tokyo公演をもって活動休止したSadieのヴォーカル・真緒とギター・美月が新ユニット”The THIRTEEN”を結成!その第1弾リリースであるフルアルバム『PANDEMIC』に、マニュピュレーターとしてGARIのVocal,Programing担当のYOW-ROW氏が参加!そして、Sadieに通じる攻撃的なラウドロックに、メジャーコードを積極的に取り込むことで、Sadieとは趣の異なる開放的でポジティヴな響きを備えた全13 曲となっている。新たなスタートに際し、あえて不吉な”13”の文字を掲げた彼らの壮絶な覚悟と、その”PANDEMIC=爆発感染”の行方を確かめてほしい。初回限定盤には収録曲「CHAINSAW」のミュージックビデオを収録したDVDとの2枚組+ライナーノーツを掲載したフォトブックレット付き。6月24日にはお披露目ワンマン”INDEPENDENT13”を赤坂BLITZにて開催する。
