GLAYのリーダーでありギタリスト、メインコンポーザーを務めるTAKUROが、満を持して初のソロプロジェクトを始動! TAKUROソロ1stインストアルバムはB'zの松本孝弘氏をプロデューサーに迎え入れ、ロサンゼルス在住のTOPミュージシャンとレコーディングを敢行した意欲作。録音方法に関してはTAKURO所有の3台のビンテージレスポールを使用した深みのあるギターサウンドに、ジャズ、ブルースを基調とした音作りで、1音1音こだわり抜いて制作された。DVDには、Journey without a map ドキュメンタリーを収録。
