Description

Blu-ray release of second part of Yukihiko Tsutsumi's three film adaptation of end-of-the-world manga "20th Century Boy" written by Naoki Urasawa. Set in 2015, 15 years after Bloody New Year's Eve. While Kenji and his company are blamed for the evil plan to destroy the world on the New Year's Eve of the year 2000, the leader of a cult "Friend" had been worshiped as savior of the world. On the other hand, Kenji's niece Kanna, who is now a high school student, sneaks into the brainwashing facilities of "Friend" named Tomodachi Land (Frend Land). As Kanna comes close to the truth of "Friend," she realizes that there are more mysteries. It is "New Book of Prophecy." The book says that in 2015, a savior goes to church in Shinjuku and stands up for justice, however the savior would be assassinated. Who is savior? What will happen to the world?

さぁ、みんな"つづき"を始めよう――。 様々な謎を残した「<第1章> 終わりの始まり」に続く第2作! ヒロイン・カンナ役には平 愛梨。新キャストにユースケ・サンタマリア、藤木直人、小日向文世、小池栄子ら豪華な顔ぶれ! "血の大みそか"から15年後の西暦2015年。人類滅亡計画は悪魔のテロリスト・ケンヂ一派の仕業とされ、"ともだち"は世界の救世主と崇められていた。一方、高校生に成長したケンヂの姪・カンナは、やがて洗脳施設「ともだちランド」へと足を踏み入れ、 "ともだち"の真相にも近づいていくが、新たに現れた"しんよげんの書"の存在に、再び翻弄されていく。やがて、世界最大の危険地帯と呼ばれる新宿・歌舞伎町に、"ともだち"が視察に現れることになった。折しもカンナは歌舞伎町の教会にいた。「しんよげんの書～ 2015ねん、しんじゅくのきょうかいで、きゅうせいしゅは、せいぎのためにたちあがるが、あんさつされてしまうだろう」 <救世主>とは誰なのか・・・? そして、世界は・・・?
