Ms Amuro has been spoiling us this past year with lots of great singles, so it was even more exciting to hear of this one. The cover to this single is gorgeous!! Namie looks amazing with the simplistic yet lovely cover of the singer against a sunrise representing the leading A-Side. Dear Diary is a beautiful ballad with equally beautiful Japanese-English mixed lyrics while the B-Side Fighter is a rockish-pop song fully in English. Sadly Fighter isn't as good as its predecessor. It's fun, but feels kinda generic. Still the song's strongest point is its MV, which is amazing visually & even features Ryuk from the anime Death Note. The MV for Dear Diary however is also breath-taking beautiful in its visuals as well and suits the song perfectly.
