Shinobu Yaguchi's zero-to-hero(or in this case, musician) formula shines once again in Swing Girls. This film has plenty of humor, lovable characters, great music, and just enough story and character development to be great. It's not deep or provoking, but it's not supposed to be. This movie is about having a good time for 105 minutes. Highly recommended. My only disappointment in this DVD release is the special episodes and extras are not subtitled, but I was already expecting that. Luckily, the movie's subtitles are fantastic.

Yaguchi Shinobu is at it again with Swing Girls! Not only does this edition come with the movie, but the spin off episodes are funny and well directed, and the making-of featurette will blow you away. Get Swing Girls and Waterboys and you'll die of laughter!
