Moguralike

The Goddesses are on a roll in 06. Of course I'm biased, but this is still an excellent single. Since we don't have the video release in the US you'll have to check out the web to catch sight of the title track. Now if I can just learn the dance moves in time for the Philly concert. Okay, kind of geeky, but Puffy's songs are infectious that way. And I really like that B-side. A bit of whimsey that recalls their earlier sound but not recycled. Ami and Yumi have the ability to be "sugoi kawaii" and yet "saikou" at the same time. No other j-pop artist comes close. I think the girlz have entered a new chapter in their music career. This single marks the start of some really creative new music, and I can't wait to hear what comes next.

I have been waiting what seems like an eternity for some new Puffy songs. I gotta give it to them, these tracks are great. It is a departure from the Nice sound and sounds a bit like they are getting back to their roots here. I love both songs. The first track is really addictive. The chorus that they sing together is amazing, especially toward the end of the song. If you like Puffy, you will love these tracks. Can't wait for more and can't wait for the US tour!

This is what I thought about Puffy's latest album: I was extremely impressed by the first song on the album "Moguralike". It is very good, and has Puffy's awesome rock feel to it. The second song on the album "Mogura" is one of the cutest songs that I have heard Puffy sing! The lyrics are very good in both songs, and the tunes are very upbeat and happy. I cant wait for their next single, Puffy is rocking 2006 with a GREAT start!!
