前作『LIMIT』より10ヶ月ぶりににリリースされる今作は、まさしく、"MODO NOSTRA"という言葉ありきで生まれたと言っても過言では無い。2018年という1年を使い、2マンライヴを行ってきた中で、毎回新曲を披露するという課題を自らに与えてきたRUKA。既に、この頃から、彼の中ではこのアルバムの形が見えていたのだ。全6曲のうち、「deep.」と「奇々」は、Tour"MODO-NOSTRA" (5月31日～6月9日)期間中、オフィシャルオンラインストア&ライブ会場限定でリリースされた『"BOOTLEG"』にも収録されていたという楽曲たちだが、全曲共に実に衝動的であり、"これ迄以上に何も考えず、言いたいことを言い放った"という歌詞は、RUKAの言葉どおり、赤裸々な迄に心情を吐露した言葉たちが、テーマやルールという枠を超えてぶつかってくる。これが、MODO NOSTRA。
