VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE 5年ぶりの大復活作。2005年 NUMBER GIRL / ZAZEN BOYS を経た「アヒト・イナザワ」が、ドラマーからヴォーカル&ギターにパート・チェンジを行い結成。現在のメンバーは有江嘉典 (Bass/MOON・BEAM/the pillowsサポート他) / 中畑大樹 (Drums/syrup16g他) / 楢原英介 (Guitar & Synth, Violin/YakYakYak他) UNIVERSAL MUSICからメジャーデビュー以降、海外フェスへの参加、自主企画等精力的に活動。2014年4年振りに「Regalecus russelii」をリリースし、翌15年に結成10周年を迎える。個々の活動を経て2019年に5年振りとなるアルバムを引っ提げ久々の全国ツアーを発表。NEW WAVE、エレクトロを取り入れたロックの先駆者的存在である彼らが再び動き出す。
