I received the box in perfect conditions. Very good review of the king crimson"s music of his first album, and vry good the aditional material..thank you very much.

This package just amazes me, it is beyond a doubt one of the greatest releases of all time. This classic album has never sounded better, the bonus tracks are so good one wonders why some of them were not included on the original release back in 1969. If you love this album, do not hesitate to get this package before it is sold out. I especially liked the comment on the back of the box that this edition is strictly prohibited from being exported, thanks CDJAPAN for breaking the law so I can enjoy ITCOTCK in all its remixed & remastered glory!

I cannot provide 5 stars for this masterpiece, but only for the packaging. There are three sleeves marked with "Printed in Japan", all with different paper stock. There are two sleeves with title stickers (one with black letters, one with brown/red letters). Both say Printed in Canada. There is one sleeve that has a Spanish translation of the words on the inner cover and says it is from Argentina. Now, in the late 1960's and 1970's many US covers were printed in Canada. It may have been that Canada could print the covers cheaper or it may have been a trade agreement between the United States and Canada. There is one of these covers that has the Atlantic imprint on the inside cover, so I am guessing that is the US cover. But it is different than the official release paper stock. So, perhaps, the promo US mono version is different. It is a bit confusing. The CD's are picture discs and if you align the discs, you get a partial picture of the face on the front of the sleeve. Very nice. The sound is impeccable. Robert Fripp has always pursued the quality to be in life like and to this end, he has succeeded wonderfully. Is there a different between this version (2009 and 2004) to the 30th Anniversary edition? Yes, indeed. Moonchild has been significantly remixed and the overall sound on both the 2009 and 2004 versions is a markedly improved, but that does not mean the gold disc version is terrible. On the contrary, if one did not have the updated versions, one may not notice the difference. Is it worth the money? That is a question that I cannot answer for anyone else but me. It is worth the cost for the sound, alone. The DVD-A is not region coded and can play in any region.
