What I really want to do is not the band like this! Kazunori Negishi is a pure-hearted, serene man and moves to Tokyo to make a dream of becoming a Shibuya-kei pop singer come true. However, by some freak coincidence, he ends up to be a vocal of death-metal band Detroit Metal City and becomes increasingly popular against his will.

ボクがしたかったのは・・・こんなバンドじゃない!! 話題沸騰のデスメタルギャグ漫画『DMC』が松山ケンイチ主演で待望の映画化! 『デスノート』のL役でその圧倒的な存在感と演技力で人気が爆発した松山ケンイチが、ナヨナヨ根岸とデスメタルのカリスマ・クラウザーさんという強烈な個性をもったキャラを演じ分ける。その完全なナリキリぶりにマスコミを中心に早くも熱い視線が注がれた! 心優しき青年・根岸崇一は、オシャレな渋谷系ポップソングミュージシャンを夢見て大分の田舎町から上京。「そのキッスの味はきっとラズベリ～♪さっき食べたケーキの仕業さ～」渾身の甘いポップソング「ラズベリーキッス」でデビューを目指すが、ふとしたことから奇抜なメイクと演奏で人気を博す悪魔系デスメタルバンド「デトロイト・メタル・シティ」(通称DMC)のギターボーカル"ヨハネ・クラウザーII世"として活躍する羽目になってしまう。オシャレとポップソングが大好きな憧れの美女・相川さんにはそのことをひた隠して活動を続ける根岸青年だったが、DMCのデビューシングル「ラズベリーキッス」・・・もとい「SATSUGAI (殺害)」が爆発的なヒットとなり、その意思とは裏腹にクラウザーさんはどんどんカリスマとなっていく。
