After looking for a number of background tracks to the Kaleido Star series, finding this disc with two significant tracks in the climax of the first season was lucky indeed. As an English-language listener, the drama tracks hold little interest unless I chance upon a translated script. Two of the most memorable tracks in my view, Mistic Legend and Niji to hikari to kaze no kuni, are present on this disc and was the main reason for purchasing this disc. Parts of these two tracks are played when Sora and Layla complete the Legendary Manoeuvre. Both comprise a wonderful orchestral score that reinforces the drama, tension and release present in that part of the show. The remaining songs are pleasant enough with an intro (Tattoo Kiss) and ending themes (Escape) - On Air length versions, and the full version of Yakusoku no basho e. If you are looking for these particular songs, the disc comes highly recommended.
