矢野顕子と上原ひろみが、一夜かぎりのレコーディング・ライヴを開催! ジャンルは違えども、共にニューヨークを拠点にピアノで世界的な活躍を続けるふたりが、共演コンサート「矢野顕子×上原ひろみ Recording LIVE IN TOKYO ～Get Together～」を、9月9日(金)に東京・昭和女子大学人見記念講堂にて開催! この公演は、ライヴ・レコーディングを目的とするもので、収録された音源が本作品として発売となる。2004年の出会いから7年の時を経て実現する、今回のレコーディング・ライヴ。演奏時間はCDに収録する70分間程度 (予定)。お互いのオリジナル曲に加えて、多彩なジャンルの楽曲のカヴァー、さらには、この日のために書き下ろした新曲も披露 (予定)! 2,000枚のチケットは瞬時にソールドアウト! 「一夜かぎり」というシチュエーションで、お互いのインスピレーションが高次元でぶつかり合う白熱のピアノ・セッション。今年最高のコラボレーションとなること間違いなし!
