Description

Hirokazu Koreeda directed a live-action film based on a hit manga "Umimachi Diary (Our Little Sister)" by Akio Yoshimi comes out on Blu-ray. Stars Haruka Ayase, Masami Nagasawa, Kaho, and Suzu Hirose as four sisters living in Kamakura, Kanagawa. Comes with a 24-page booklet and a bonus DVD featuring diaries of four sisters, making-of documentary, cooking contents, footage from Cannes Film Festival, unreleased scenes, and more. The set comes in an outer case. Plot: There are three sisters living at a house left by their grandmother in Kamakura. Their father left them with a woman other than his wife 15 years ago, and after that their mother married with other man and also left from the house. One day, sisters receive news of their father's death and head to their father's funeral. There they meet their stepsister, Suzu who is 14-years-old. They learns that there is no one to take care of her, and the oldest sister Sachi invites Suzu to live with them in Kamakura. *
