『おおかみこどもの雨と雪』は、"おおかみおとこ"と人間との間に生まれた二人の≪おおかみこども≫が、自然豊かな田舎町で様々な人や獣と出会い、時には楽しく元気に、時には悩み傷つきながら、「自分の世界」を見つけ出すまでを描く作品。 BDケースサイズスリーブ付属。ブックレット封入。 ■＜ストーリー＞ 大学生の花 (宮崎あおい)は、彼 (大沢たかお)と出会ってすぐに恋に落ちた。やがて彼が人間の姿で暮らす"おおかみおとこ"だと知ることになったが、花の気持ちが変わることはなかった。そして一緒に暮らし始めた2人の間に、新たな命が生まれる。雪の日に生まれた姉は≪雪≫、雨の日に生まれた弟は≪雨≫と名づけられた。雪は活発で好奇心旺盛。雨はひ弱で臆病。一見ごく普通の家族だが、生まれてきた子供たちは、「人間とおおかみ」のふたつの顔を持つ、≪おおかみこども≫だった。そのことを隠しながら、家族4人は都会の片隅でひっそりと暮らし始める。つつましくも幸せな毎日。しかし永遠に続くと思われた日々は、父である"おおかみおとこ"の死によって突然奪われてしまった――。
