秋元康氏がプロデュースを手掛けるアイドルグループ、ラストアイドル。前作「君は何キャラット?」から約7か月ぶり、11枚目のニューシングル。今作の表題曲は、選抜メンバーを決定する新企画「17LIVE Presents 496試合を勝ち残れ。ラスアイサバイブ ～ワタシは、ワタシたちで勝つ。～」によって決定したメンバー17名での歌唱。この企画はライブ配信アプリ「17LIVE」とのコラボで、参加メンバー全32名が、1対1のバトルを全496試合繰り広げ上位17名が選抜メンバーとして決定する企画となっており、全496試合のバトルはそれぞれメンバーが持ち時間内に"歌唱パフォーマンス"と"自由演技"を披露し、配信視聴者による投票で勝敗が決定する。初回限定盤CのDVDには、「Break a leg!」ミュージックビデオ、共通カップリング曲ミュージックビデオ、他を収録。フォトカード (メンバーソロカード33種のうち1枚ランダム)、投票用のシリアルナンバー入りのチラシ (※投票期間: 2021年12月12日(日)23:59まで)封入。
