Sono's vocals are wonderful as always. Both songs are different to each other, where alkaloid showcase is a fast song, kaze no tori is a slow and beautiful one. I'm all for slow songs so it's a definite plus for me. Only downside is the actual CD itself. Really plain in my opinion.

Sono of Jeniva and support drummer of Jeniva Yuu from Masquerade(i think that's their name) show they've only been improving since the end of Jeniva. Also Karen(keyboard/piano) brings her own unique addition to the band. The second track, Kaze no Tori written by her is really beautiful. It contrasts the darker first track, alkaloid showcase(written by Sono) very well. Sono, Mika, Karen, You, and Yuu don't disappoint. If you purchase nothing else this year, make sure you get alkaloid showcase.
