In commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Yasujiro Ozu's birth, a Blu-ray box set of 5 films by Yasujiro Ozu in 4K digital restoration is available! This box contains five black-and-white films that are being released on Blu-ray for the first time. The box contains the highly acclaimed silent film masterpiece "Otona no Miru Ehon Umarete wa Mita Keredo (I Was Born, But...)", a rare Japanese-style gangster film with dazzling costumes and artwork (silent) "Hijosen no Onna (Dragnet Girl)", and "Chichi Ariki (There Was a Father)," which was shot under wartime conditions, "Nagaya Shinshiroku (Record of a Tenement Gentleman)," the first postwar humanistic comedy to reunite the famous actors from Ofuna Studio, and "Kaze no Naka no Mendori (A Hen in the Wind)," the most unique of Ozu's film, which focuses on the harsh reality of postwar Japan and depicts a woman in agony.
