2020年4月30日に亡くなったドラマーにしてアフロビートの帝王トニー・アレン。ブライアン・イーノをして"史上最高のドラマー"と言わしめたそのグルーヴは、リミックス音源などを通じて従来のファンのみならず多くの若いオーディエンスも惹きつけてやまない。本作は、そのトニー・アレンが亡くなる直前にレコーディングしていた遺作と位置付けられるもの。アート・ブレイキーのトリビュートやジェフ・ミルズとのコラボレーションなど近年は冒険心溢れるプロジェクトに取り組んでいた彼だが、本作で彼がコンセプトとして置いていたのはヒップホップ。"素晴らしい才能を持つ若い世代を世に送り出したい"という彼の願いを反映する形で、スケプタやダニー・ブラウン、サンパ・ザ・グレイトといった豪華な面子のみならずナー・イートやコリアタウン・オディティ、ラヴァ・ラ・ルーなど才能溢れる気鋭のアーティストまで幅広く各トラックにフィーチャリングされている。最期まで実験的なスピリットを失わなかったトニー・アレンの冒険心、クリエイティビティを存分に感じ取れる充実の内容。中でも今作の中で最初にレコーディングされた「コズモシス」という曲では、ベン・オクリ、スケプタのフィーチャリングに加えデーモン・アルバーン (ブラー、ゴリラズ)とも共演。トニーならではのビートにデーモンの印象的なオルガンが絡み合い、その上をベン・オクリのスピーチとスケプタのフローが飛び交う秀逸な仕上がりとなっている。
