Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Magnet Collection BoxBeautiful decoArrived in perfect condition, the individual packagings prevented any scratch on the magnets. The art is beautifully rendered and it has a very nice feel to the touch. It's really well crafted and sticks perfectly to the fridge.

Grace Under Pressure [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-CD] [Limited Release]RUSHFor established Rush fansThe overall result is an excellent, though somehow bleak and disturbing album, proving Rush's ability to change with the times (even at the risk of alienating some hard-core, long-time fans) and incorporate disparate influences in their output. “Grace Under Pressure” may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's undeniably progressive. Highly recommended - at least to those who keep an open mind.

Jumbo [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]GrobschnittIt's really a special albumAn enthusiastic, optimistic symphonic album, full of fantasies and humor. A difficult, complex album. In a minor way this is a classic.

Rockpommel's Land [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]GrobschnittGrobschnitt's best studio albumFor me this is the album of all albums. This is certainly one of the most brilliant prog recordings ever. This recording shows GROBSCHNITT's amazing musicianship and song writing skills... The music is lush and runs nicely along as each song builds on each another.

Solar Music Live [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]GrobschnittGet this you progheads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOLAR MUSIC is a unique piece of prog history, this is definitely very difficult to compare with something else. This is just one of those magical albums which make the listener appreciate the greatness of prog music. Not too many have this strength. This is not necessarily easy listening as it will take a few listenings before being able to appreciate all the riches of SOLAR MUSIC.

Merry Go Round [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]GrobschnittThe album is a pure joy filled"Merry-Go-Round" contains everything that you would expect with great drumming - bass - guitar interplay with fairytale-like keyboards and atmospheres. Songs are exceptionally well written and performed. "Merry Go Round" is a fabulous album all the way through and ranks up there with their best output in my mind.

SUPER EUROBEAT 2025V.A.Super Euro MehWriting this review a year later because I honestly forgot to. Speed Devil, What’s In Your Dream, Breakin Up My Chains, Power Car were fantastic songs. Liar And Dire was good but Bratt Sinclaire’s mastering of the song really needs work as the bass completely overshadows everything in the song. Same thing applies to To Beat Or Not To Beat. I give this album a 3.5/5 year but if the interview that was promised in the first press copy was actually released I would of given the album a 4/5 as I only bought the first press copy for the interview.

Slide It in 35th Anniversary Deluxe Edition [2SHM-CD]WhitesnakeJohn Sykes first Whitesnake masterpieceWhile the 25th anniversary of Slide It In was more focused on the DVD disc and featuring tracks from Live In The Shadow of Blues Live album and thus a proper inclussion of the UK mix of the album, this new version fixed that with the whole album in that mix plus the most famous US mix. Also, the vault were opened including the early versions of Gambler and Guilty of Love produced by Eddie Kramer and the exclusive Need Your Love So Bad leftover. The only odd part about the US mix disc from this set us that follows the UK mix track order despite having an unique track sequencing in it's original 1984 release, that made a much stronger A side compared to it's UK coubterpart that deserved be kept for a extra highlight of both versions differences.

Slip of the Tongue 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition [2SHM-CD / Regular Edition]WhitesnakeAll guns blazing releaseWhile all the deluxe editions box sets of Whitesnake albums on recent years had been all superb with tons of goodies and exclusive tracks that justifies every yen on it's prices, the stand alone releases had been evolving from just the original albums remastered to two discs editions with live shows from specific eras to bonus tracks and in this case finally, all guns blazing with all the alternate remixes and left over tracks previouly available only on singles, out of print greatest hits compilations or obscure bundle releases. Let's wonder if for a 40th anniversary edition of 1987 (aka Serpens Albus) album the Here I Go Again, Give All Your Love Tonight and the reworked tracks that were released on the EP 1987 Versions could finally been included too on the stand alone album.

BoA Arena Tour 2007 "Made in Twenty (20)" [Regular Edition / Jacket B]BoATerrible Cover, Fantastic Concert!Go ahead and ignore the horribly ugly cover to this DVD. Despite that, this is a fantastic concert. She doesn't even wear that outfit on the cover during the actual concert. She's got an overall pretty nice set of costumes during this concert. Her stage presence is awesome. The effects, props, dancers and band are also fantastic. She really brings her A-Game as well. Her performances in dancing, energy and vocals is fantastic. Even her personality is warm, fun and inviting from start to finish! I absolutely LOVE this tour!! The only minor detail that I wasn't fond of is some editing during the performance of Everything Needs Love that is a tad distracting. Highly recommended!!

Get Out Of My Father's Car [SHM-CD] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]GryphonThis album is a breath of fresh airYears may have passed, and many musical styles have come and gone, but Gryphon are still Gryphon and long may it continue. There is a light-hearted feeling to this album. There are complex instrumentals, and we drop back in time to Baroque and medieval periods, all of which make perfect sense when in the hands of these guys.

DISSONANCE THEORY [Limited Release]
CORONERDISSONANCE THEORY [Limited Release]CORONERCoroner strikes with Dissonance TheoryCoroner’s Dissonance Theory is not a nostalgic cash-in but a bold, renewed manifesto from a band that never fully left the experimental alley of thrash. The record moves with a surgical precision - riffs that brace you, rhythms that shift without warning, and atmospheres thick with tension. The inclusion of Diego Rapacchietti breathes fresh energy into the drum department, and Bogren’s mixing sculpted clarity even in the densest passages. Tracks like “Sacrificial Lamb” and “Symmetry” entwine classic Coroner fretwork with fresh progressive twists, while “Transparent Eye” and “Prolonging” show the band unafraid to breathe, let space speak, and then strike again. Where Grin was enigmatic and daring, Dissonance Theory feels resolved - a return not to the past but forward from it. At forty-odd minutes, it’s lean and vital, a statement that Coroner still have surprises left.

AmenIgorrrA dark journey through psyche and sounfIn Amen, Igorrr transcends the label of “genre mangler” to become an altar for unfettered emotional exploration. From the opening pulsations of “Daemoni,” which feels like a malign heartbeat in the walls, to the shimmering dread of “Ancient Sun” and the crushing climax of “Pure Disproportionate Black and White Nihilism,” the album drags you into the black underbelly of the psyche. Serre’s compositional instincts are razor-sharp: he knows exactly when to let operatic vocals float over fragile electronics, when to crash in with punishing blastbeats, and when to let silence or minimalism speak loudest. Amen is not easy; it demands you lean into its discomfort. But its rewards are manifold - dark epiphany, cathartic release, and the terrifying pleasure of music that refuses to be tamed. Amid a field of imitators who dabble at extremes, this album stands as a statement: Igorrr is still the high priest of audacious, unsettling, and utterly personal extreme art.

Acoustic Weather ReportMakoto Kuriya, Koichi Osamu, Hiroyuki NoritakeThe acoustic version's different & greatI was excited to see what a jazz piano trio arrangement of fusion music would sound like. Even if you're not familiar with Weather Report, I think this arrangement is enjoyable enough. Makoto Kuriya's piano sound is clear and powerful. Koichi Osamu's thick, heavy, and powerful bass. Hiroyuki Noritake's drums are surprisingly vivid. I'd love to see more jazz and fusion sounds like this...

Head Hunters (SA-CD Multi Hybrid Edition) [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Herbie HancockProbably the grooviest album everHEAD HUNTERS is the resultant album of which most people that know of Herbie Hancock will register in their brains immediately. The music of HEAD HUNTERS is a counterbalance between jazz that the musicians are used to and funk, one of the music styles all the rage back when the album premiered. In many ways it was the beginning of whole new era of music for many, and when you also take into account how well done the music on HEAD HUNTERS truly is, even all these years later, I see no reason why you should be without it. It's a classic, and well-deserving of that title.
