Switzerland's representative thrash metal band: CORONER. Attracted attention since their formation in 1985, they debuted with the album "R.I.P." in 1987. They themselves called their style "progressive death metal", incorporating jazz and classical elements into their technical playing and songs that were complex yet speed-oriented, quickly spreading their name. With their 3rd album "No More Color" (1989), they reigned as top technical band alongside VOIVOD and WATCHTOWER, and with their 4th "Mental Vortex" (1991), they expanded their musicality by incorporating industrial aspects. Even after disbanding in 1996, their legacy has never faded and has been continuously spoken of with respect. They reunited in 2010 and have continued to appear at major metal festivals and tour worldwide. Initially cautious about new production after reunion, they started composing again around 2015. In spring 2020, they declared "We will make an album, we will start recording", and slowly progressed. スイスを代表するスラッシュ・メタル・バンド:CORONER。1985年の結成時から注目を集め、1987年に『R.I.P.』でアルバム・デビュー。メンバー自ら"プログレッシヴ・デス・メタル"を標榜、ジャズやクラシック的な要素も取り入れたテクニカルな演奏と複雑でありながらスピード重視の楽曲で瞬く間にその名を広めていく。3rdアルバム『No More Color』 (1989)でVOIVODやWATCHTOWERと並ぶ技巧派のトップとして君臨、4th『Mental Vortex』 (1991)でインダストリアル的な面も取り込み音楽性を拡張していく。1996年の解散後もレガシーが色褪せることはなく敬意と共に語られ続ける中、2010年に再結成を果たし大規模メタル・フェス出演やワールド・ツアーを継続してきた。再結成当初は新作制作に慎重な姿勢を見せていたが、2015年頃から再び作曲を開始。2020年春に「アルバムを作る、レコーディングに入る」と宣言、ゆっくりと作業を進めていった。以降毎年囁かれたリリース・プランは実現しなかったが、遂に32年振りとなる奇跡の最新作が完成した。ボーナス・ディスク付。
