I think it is a little bit large for cheek so I use it for finishing powder. Its dome-shaped head offers excellent control and a smoth, diffused finishing powder. FO-3 feels incredibly soft and gentle in the skin.

Very soft and easy to work with. The kolinsky hair is great for using on gel eyeliners to blend or smudge. It's the perfect size and very well made.

It is ideal for applying highlighter or setting powder with special shape. This brush is the right size allowing for controlled application and seemless blending. The bristles puck up powder without wasting it and the application is very smooth and even. Highly recommended for this beautifully crafted makeup brush.

Love this brush for applying cream or liquid foundation. The fibers are soft and densely packed. The handle is gorgeous. Don't hesitate- It's a must have for your makeup routine

This is my first screw brush made by animal hair. It is quite stiff comparing to my other screw brush made by synthetic. I use it for combing the eyebrow. Since it's not so soft, I need to use it very gently to avoid making myself uncomfortable. I think the stiff bristle can make good hair combing, but considering the comfortness, I may not purchase such type of brush again.

Since I have purchased other similar brush like this for concealer application, so it's not a surprise to me. It just falls with my expectation, nice to use it for concealer application. The length of the hair is a bit of short for comparing to other concealer brush. But the size of the width quite fits my usual makeup habit.

I was expecting this to be relatively small like the RC-2, but it is much larger, especially post wash. The hair is soft and resilient with nice density. This brush could be used for powder or blush; it is much more versatile than I was expecting. Comparable to much more expensive silver fox brushes in my collection. At this price point, I don't have to be so precious about it and it's going to get a lot of use.

I bought this brush because I have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea, and I didn't want to feel the guilt of animal cruelty every time I'd put on powder on my face, plus I wanted something durable that would withstand oily sunscreen and regular washing. Well I'm amazed by the softness (not only MUCH softer than western synthetic brands, but I still have a few squirrel brushes at home and this brush could honestly have fooled me) and the performance (no streaks, even and natural coverage). I was totally sleeping on synthetic fude until I read a thorough guide on Reddit (look it up :) that made me realize how underrated it was in terms of durability, performance and softness. I'm also grateful that Koyudo took the bet of a bold design without lowering costs on quality (innovative corn-based fiber and brass ferules) <3

I got it as a brush that's a little flat and not very layered. I was disappointed that the layers were simple even if I looked at the side. I think I'll have to wash it to be exact. I felt it was denser than I thought. It looks good to tap on.

I thought it would be great if all hair was foxy. Even if you apply it roughly, this cloudy brush smudges the color like a hug. I don't really prefer a single wool brush because it's hard to breathe and it feels like it's resisting on the face like a squirrel. Fortunately, this brush is mixed with wool, but it was good. I like to dab it on, and it feels fantastic. It buffs well, too.

Before purchasing this Kabuki brush I researched- It was hard to decide between this one and the red squirrel mix saibikoho. It is a tough choice but I went with the blue fox due to the increased density. I use it with pressed finishing powder and the pick up is excellent. While being silky soft, the performance is excellent and the brush is beautiful. The brush is fuller than it appears in the website photo and I was pleasantly surprised! It comes in a beautiful box which is small enough and I keep it on my counter. Blue fox is hard to find and this brush is a great one to add to your collection- both for functionality and beauty.

The makie handle is so beautiful. The brush fluffs up so nicely and is extremely soft. I use this brush to apply a diffuse layer of powder over my whole face. Long squirrel hairs are getting more and more scarce so I was happy to add this to my collection.

The shape of this brush is quite special. I can't remember that I have such shape of type brush. The arrow tip is quite helpful to apply highlight in the precise spot. The bristle is also soft as other brush of this series. In general, this is a good brush but not must have one.

I love this brush. I use it to blend darker colors in the V area of the eye. It creates a dramatic yet refined look. It’s soft and yet very effective

I really like this box. The only reason for taking off one star is that I think it’s pricey for what it is.

This is a pretty standard shape eye shadow brush, but the hair combo makes it more firm and resilient than a pure squirrel eye brush. Most of my eyeshadows are on the softer side and this brush packs on a lot of colour on in one sweep. It doesn't fluff up or splay out after washing.

This brush series is excellent value for kakishibuzome saikoho. The round powder brush is my favourite of the series, but this blush brush is a close second. It's a fluffy paddle shape, so if you like to apply your blush in back and forth sweeping motions, this is a great brush for that. Turned sideways, it's excellent for applying contour in the hollows of your cheeks. I love how the persimmon dye makes it so these brushes don't look dirty. This isn't considered a premium handle, but I adore the cherrywood combined with the black ferrule and kakishibuzome bristles. Such a pretty combo.

I bought this to use with my Chanel water fresh tint and I absolutely love it! It blended it so nicely and packed it on so beautifully!

This was part of my first ever order and I really do like the brush. It’s perfect for blending eyeshadow. It’s my first squirrel hair brush and I love how soft it is, I can’t wait to get a bigger version of it to properly experience the luxury of squirrel hair brushes!
