i agree with previous review by joe. this is a great sloppy but wonderful album from the 60's. but the sound is sharp. this is a great re-release. a must buy.

this is a very good compilation japan only blu spec 2 mini lp cd that sounds fantastic!!! all opel was was a compilation of tracks from barrets only 2 solo albums as well as other recordings i reviewed here yesterday and all tracks on this disc where recorded between may 1968 through mid 1970 as after that barret never recorded again, this compilation was originally released back in 1988, the mini lp replication is almost perfect as per the original japan 1988 lp edition of this compilation lp...

this was syd barrets first solo album post pink floyd and he sure had a big roster of musicians working with him here like DAVID GILLMORE , ROGERS WATERS, JERRY SHIRLEY among others but syd called all the shots here, this is a very nice blu spec 2 japan only disc that sounds great that comes in a mini lp replication sleeve wich seems to replicate the original japan lp with its original obi from over 50 years ago now, most of what you hear here is syds off the wall lyrics and guitar strumming and what was left of his brain after the most off the wall debut PINK FLOYD record PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN (1967) wich would be his first and last record with PINK FLOYD........

this was syd barrets second and last album released in 1970 50 years ago, this one is a bit better then the first one but it was and still sounds like syd trying to find himself & a sound but is a classic psyche record becouse the artists name was SYD BARRET the founder of pink floyd who got kicked out of his own band in 1968 the year after they released there first psyche classic PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN. anyway this is a beautiful blu spec 2 remastered for japan only disc and comes in a very nice mini lp replication sleeve of the first japan edition of this lp right down to the original obi strip ( i belive), the disc itself sounds amazing!!
