The mastering on this edition is subtly different than the original cd/vinyl in terms of the character of the sound, some people claim this master is too loud, but from what I've compared it is well into the standard measures used in this kind of media. About the Blu-spec, might notice a difference in performance playback in high quality playback systems (but still it might just be placebo). Overall a great edition in my opinion, it comes with a couple add-ons like the vinyl version, and the cd comes in a what looks like an anti-static sleeve, which is quite thoughtful for a paper sleeve packaging, feels like a lot of care went into the making of this reissue.

Fantastic five-disc boxset of Isao Tomita's music for various Osamu Tezuka animation projects. I mainly bought this for the soundtrack to 1001 Nights, which is a mind-blowing combination of Miklos Rozsa-style epic orchestral music and proto-prog rock jamming. A beautiful package, with five normal-sized jewel cases in a sturdy thick box. For years I only knew Tomita as that guy who did synthesizer versions of classical music, but his original soundtracks are a whole other world of music to explore.

Look at You Now is like a mix of the "old" Flower Kings with the more concise stuff they're writing lately. It seems they finally found the right balance and I hope they continue in this path. With no fillers and with an excellent flow, it's a real nice surprise.

Much better packaging and presentation than the UK (and presumably US and European) CDs, apart from the Blu-Spec discs. This comes in a sturdy CD case, rather than the flimsy, stripped back digipack version and apart from the customary Obi wrapper it also includes an extra lyrics booklet in Japanese and English. So you get the words to the totally underwhelming track 'Outside Bonds,' which is probably the only transcription of this baffling waste of audio space available anywhere! Full marks for effort to whoever prepared this valuable addition to the Clash libretto! For me, the better packaging much improves this generally disappointing reissue.

A must-have album for every Floyd collector. A trip to Rome, exploring Gilmour's new album and old Floyd echoes. An absolute must-have.

This is the last masterpiece from the true icon of rock/metal scene. Every track on this album has its unique feature! RIP dear OzzY.

First of all, this comes across as a very accessible effort with a satisfying degree of complexity and prog sensibilities. That being said, there are portions that are not particularly prog-centric, but still seem to fit anyway. There is nothing bad in the entire 94 minutes of music. It's a lot to absorb but worth the effort.

Gilmour and Pink Floyd are one of my favourites. The latest album is very good. Sound is great and I recommend.

The Orb always creates beautiful, immersive atmospheres! On this album, Orb collaborates once again with David Gilmour (their previous collaboration was on the 2010 album "Metallic Spheres"). The virtuoso Gilmour contributes his guitar sounds, adding depth and spaciousness to these two excellent ambient/dub tracks. Note: This Japanese edition is in Blu-ray CD2 format, which enhances the sound quality of this disc, creating the perfect blend of immersive sounds and superior format quality.

Another excellent album from Mr. Howard Jones. It only has 8 tracks, but each one is remarkable. He retains his characteristic voice and classic synth-pop style, but at the same time, the rhythms and electronic instrumentation elevate it to a modern synth-pop style. In other words, it could be a very good album from a modern synth-pop band, but it's Howard Jones, which elevates it to excellent. Note: This Japanese version includes a second CD: "Live at The NHK Hall, September 23rd, 1984" (This CD has been released individually in the UK). A great concert from over four decades ago, where you can hear his hits live from that great era. Furthermore, this Japanese edition is in Blu-spec CD2 format, which greatly enhances the sound quality. Recommended for everyone: new listeners, casual admirers, and die-hard fans.

Truly fantastic live recordings of Pink Floyd guitarist and singer David Gilmour. Many tracks are from his latest album, on which his daughter also appears, as well as from this fantastic concert in Rome, as well as many Pink Floyd tracks. This beautiful 7-inch package with booklets, two Blu-ray discs, and two CDs is a must-have for any Pink Floyd fan's collection.

Great second album from Laufey. Maintains the same hopeless romantic theme as her first release which sits perfectly in the Jazz genre. Love the creative lyric writing with some wonderful music composition. Four stars here with five for the first release. The Japan release is a standout!

I have YM’s first 5 albums on SHM-CD - I think they were the very first CDs I purchased from CDJapan - and don’t listen to much else; these albums ARE my childhood. However, when I heard Relentless Fury with YM SINGING leads, my jaw dropped. His voice is great and fits the music perfectly. The music is standard fair for YM, but this is why we love him

Music IS represents a significant leap forward for Frisell as a guitarist, composer and conceptualist. This album deserves consideration as both a career high point and a masterpiece of solo guitar.
