The master on this reissue is noticeably different from the original vinyl and first CD, but still with the original character of sound. Great edition for completionists since it comes with all the alternate takes, also great material for those who study Mr. Evans playing, the alternate takes let you compare directly with the chosen versions for official release, and have a closer look at the approach Evans had to improvising the same solo with different expression or nuances, see how he developed his style in these early stages. Comes with a couple interesting add-ons, liner notes and something that looks like a small poster, not a fan of paper sleeve packaging because of the cd scratching but still can be handled with care.

This album might be an important material when talking about the history of Jazz/Fusion. It’s by turns intoxicating and disorienting. It’s a ferocious album from an extraordinary group of musicians, deployed in a most unusual way.

A terrific recording of nice, softly swinging standards and a few other things. Steve Gadd is a great brush player and plays them on almost all of this recording. Eddie Gomez plays like you'd expect, awesome. With the background these gentlemen have in so many different kinds of music, it seems like they are relaxing and enjoying each other's playing.

One of my all time favourite albums by female singer. Beautiful re-issue on UHQCD and great sound! An absolute must buy.

Unpackably great music, at that time already fallen out of time and not attributed to any epoch. Accordingly, this is not aged here either, it sounds just as fresh and modern as it was then and although one should not make the current music makers too bad: no one can deliver such a quality today. Every song is full of power, wit and melody, with ingenious virtuosity and then this sound...

Excellent album by Diana Krall trio with one bonus track exclusively for Japanese release. Must have for smooth jazz fans and audiophiles!

This album is the second time Tedeschi Trucks revisit a classic oldie in a live performance (Layla being the first one).The horns and piano take center stage with the UHQCD format, but despite all the special guests and awesome song selection its Derek Truck that steals the show. Minimalist at times and over the top at others. real virtuoso work. 10/10 album

This album is a very good japanese recording, the signal level is very good, the fidelity is also vey good,I don't know if they could have done more for the song power of love, but generally I am very satisfied for this recording and I do recommend it.

Nothing new of consequence on this 80th Birthday for Fogerty on this release. All songs from the Creedence days. Sound is excellent. A good greatest hits anthology.

JJ Cale's catalog speaks for itself, and this selection is a great representation of his incredible talent. No wonder Eric Clapton has borrowed so much of his music. The album is elegant and full of nuances that come across with an almost 3D quality. The UHQCD format is incredible, sometimes sounding as good as SACD
